with all SLR cameras to choose from these days, You May be finding it difficult to decide what to buy. Well, this story just might make it easier for you to choose the Canon Rebel XSI. As with many of the digital SLR camera on the market today, XSI makes some compelling arguments for this selection.
3-inch LCD is standard for most quality cameras these days, and XSI, is no exception. LCD is not only large but has a resolution of 230K, and provides a good overview of multiple viewing angles of 150 degrees or more.
welcome to the status display is also provided, which works well with the data presented through the main LCD.
Since the Canon, you will have the choice of litter when it comes to extra lenses. EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS kit lens is great for beginning digital SLR photography, but it's good to know that you have many choices for extra lenses down the road.
Spot metering is only one possibility that is added to the Canon XSI, which is often found on more expensive cameras. Flash exposure compensation is another such figure.
Another cool feature is the timer, which will take more shots for you. So, you do not have to run back into the camera after each shot, reset the timer.
Multiple ISO settings, make this flexible Rebel camera. They allow the photographer to compensate for the less than perfect lighting conditions, or for situations where flash use is not possible. ISO settings are 200, 400, 800, and 1600th Higher settings make the camera more responsive to light.
Live View, a much touted feature, especially since so many first time SLR users are accustomed to it with my old point and shoot camera. This works well when you hold the camera away from your face on a picture frame. Live View focusing can be a bit difficult, though, as it is a bit slow.
Keep in mind that if your considering buying a Rebel XSI, there are several other Rebel models with a similar lineup of features. XT (if you can find one), XS, a newly launched T1i. T1i, is more expensive, but it also comes with high resolution capabilities, and a much improved image sensor.
