He bought me a Nikon Cool Pix 8.0 megapixel camera with 2.5 megapixel screen and I was very pleased. Repeat shots no problem and good clarity of pictures at night in low light conditions, easy removal of photos, simply delete and save, good battery life and with his slim, sleek case is easy to carry. Nice size buttons easy to turn on and off and the battery saver feature is great.
My only negative is after only six months the lens would not open and I could use a camera. After checking on line I learned that others have had similar problems with the lens cover not opening on the same camera, but could not find an alternative to, or reminiscent of the problem. The warranty was only good for 90 days, not long enough for a camera that expensive, it was not the cheapest model in the series Cool Pix
